Quick version: Millennium Hits is a small independent station run by one person who loves the music. I am not here to collect personal details, build creepy listener profiles, or sell your information. The site and app exist to stream music, share throwbacks, send station updates, and hopefully earn enough from ads to keep the lights on.
That said, the site and app use normal services from companies like Google, Firebase, OneSignal, and advertising partners. Those services may process technical data such as cookies, device identifiers, advertising IDs, app activity, usage information, and consent choices under their own policies. The details are below.
Millennium Hits is operated by SU Gaming Network, a trade name based in Texas, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and shared when you use millenniumhits.com, the Millennium Hits Android app, or related station services.
What We Collect Directly
Millennium Hits does not require listener accounts, logins, passwords, or user profiles. We do not directly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information through the website or app.
If you contact us by email, advertise with us, or send us a message through your own email app, we receive the information you choose to send so we can respond.
Website Analytics and Advertising
The website uses Google Analytics so I can understand basic things like page views, traffic, and which parts of the site people actually use. The website also uses Google AdSense to display ads, because keeping a station online costs money.
Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address information, browser information, and similar technologies to provide analytics, measure performance, prevent abuse, and serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your settings and applicable consent requirements.
Android App Services
The Millennium Hits Android app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notification delivery and Firebase Analytics for automatic app analytics. The app also uses OneSignal for push notifications. We do not set OneSignal external user IDs, emails, phone numbers, tags, aliases, or custom user data.
The app uses Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads for banner, interstitial, and app open ads, and Google User Messaging Platform for ad consent where applicable. These services may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, approximate technical information, and consent choices.
The app may use Last.fm and Apple iTunes Search API requests to look up song or album artwork. The app also contacts Millennium Hits services for station, theme, and app configuration data.
Permissions
The Android app may request notification permission so playback controls and station notifications can appear in your notification area. The app also uses ordinary internet, network, media playback, startup, alarm, wake, vibration, launcher badge, install referrer, advertising ID, and Android AdServices permissions needed for streaming, notifications, app operation, analytics, and ads.
The app does not use camera, microphone, contacts, location, phone, SMS, payment, billing, login, or account features.
Push Notifications
We may send station updates, music-history alerts, app notices, and related Millennium Hits notifications to subscribed users. Push notifications go to everyone who is subscribed; we are not creating custom listener profiles for them.
You can opt out of push notifications at any time by disabling notifications for the Millennium Hits app in your device settings. OneSignal respects your device notification preferences.
Your Choices
You can control cookies and tracking through your browser settings. You can manage Google ad personalization through your Google account and Android privacy or advertising ID settings. You can use Google tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where available. If the app shows a Google consent form, you can use that form to manage available ad consent choices.
You can also disable app notifications in your device settings. That is the simplest way to stop Millennium Hits push alerts.
Children
Millennium Hits is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Third-Party Services
Third-party services used by Millennium Hits may process information under their own privacy policies, including Google, Firebase, Google AdMob, Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Google User Messaging Platform, OneSignal, Last.fm, and Apple services. I cannot control how those companies operate their services, but I try to keep Millennium Hits itself simple and light on data collection.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
